THE PRATI DISTRICT
One could define the broad area of Prati as the buffer district of the Vatican with a Renaissance facade, west of the Tiber River.
The straight roads lead from Piazza Risorgimento (Vatican area) to the river, with via Cola di Rienzo as the main landmark. The straight and wide Viale delle Milizie serves as the northern boundary and reference point. The Vatican, the famous Papal seat known for the large dome of St. Peter's Cathedral, borders Prati. To the north and northwest are predominantly residential neighborhoods.

Being a very central area of the city, the Prati District is very well served by the transport network such as:
The Metro line A runs through it for a long stretch, stopping at the Lepanto and Ottaviano stations.
Among the various surface means that serve it, we find the lines 34, 280, 70, 87, 492, 23, 81 and tram 19.
For those arriving by car, street parking is all paid with an hourly rate with parking meter (€4 for the whole day) and finding a spot is not easy, fortunately Prati offers many paid garages
